SCSP के अंतर्गत बिंदूर, कर्नाटक में किसानों के लिए जागरूकता कार्यक्रम
अनुसूचित जाति उप-योजना (SCSP) के अंतर्गत ICAR–केंद्रीय तटीय कृषि अनुसंधान संस्थान (ICAR–CCARI), ओल्ड गोवा द्वारा 17 अगस्त 2026 को टैग्गारसे, बिंदूर, कर्नाटक में एक जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। कार्यक्रम में कुल 30 प्रतिभागियों ने भाग लिया, जिनमें 25 अनुसूचित जाति के किसान शामिल थे।
कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ श्री अभिषेक, सलाहकार, ADB–TERI-CCARI परियोजना द्वारा स्वागत संबोधन एवं परिचय के साथ हुआ। उन्होंने सभी प्रतिभागियों का स्वागत किया तथा तटीय कृषक समुदायों के सतत विकास के लिए वैज्ञानिक हस्तक्षेपों और संस्थागत प्रौद्योगिकियों के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला।
डॉ. श्रीकांत जी. बी., वरिष्ठ वैज्ञानिक, ICAR–CCARI ने तटीय कृषक समुदायों के लिए आजीविका के अवसरों को बढ़ाने और उनकी सामाजिक-आर्थिक स्थिति में सुधार लाने हेतु ICAR–CCARI द्वारा विकसित विभिन्न प्रौद्योगिकियों की जानकारी दी। कार्यक्रम के दौरान बांस एक्वेरियम प्रौद्योगिकी और बैरल क्रैब फार्मिंग पद्धति का प्रदर्शन भी किया गया। किसानों को CCARI की विभिन्न प्रौद्योगिकियों से संबंधित विस्तार पुस्तिकाएँ भी वितरित की गईं।
श्री आनंद आंगड़ी, प्रमुख, मत्स्य संजीवनी FFPO ने बिंदूर क्षेत्र में की जा रही कृषि गतिविधियों के संबंध में अपने विचार साझा किए तथा स्थानीय किसानों के सामने आने वाली प्रमुख समस्याओं और चुनौतियों पर चर्चा की। प्रगतिशील किसानों श्री रवि खरवी और श्री लक्ष्मण ने मत्स्य पालन एवं मछली विपणन में अपने अनुभव साझा किए तथा मत्स्य-आधारित आजीविका से जुड़े अवसरों और चुनौतियों के संबंध में व्यावहारिक जानकारी प्रदान की।
प्रतिभागियों ने संसाधन व्यक्तियों के साथ सक्रिय रूप से संवाद किया और तटीय कृषि, पशुधन एवं मत्स्य-आधारित आजीविका तथा ICAR की प्रौद्योगिकियों के कार्यान्वयन से संबंधित विभिन्न विषयों पर चर्चा की। किसानों ने तटीय कृषक समुदायों के बीच वैज्ञानिक ज्ञान के प्रसार और सतत आजीविका के अवसरों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए संस्थान के प्रयासों की सराहना की।
कार्यक्रम का समापन श्री मृदुल उमेश पेंडुरकर, यंग प्रोफेशनल-I, ICAR–CCARI, गोवा द्वारा धन्यवाद ज्ञापन के साथ हुआ।
कार्यक्रम का समन्वय डॉ. श्रीकांत जी. बी., श्री त्रिवेश मायकेकर (वैज्ञानिक – मत्स्य आनुवंशिकी एवं प्रजनन, ICAR–CCARI), श्री आनंद आंगड़ी, श्री अभिषेक तथा श्री मृदुल उमेश पेंडुरकर द्वारा किया गया।
Awareness programme for farmers at Byndoor, Karnataka under SCSP
An awareness programme was organized under the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP) by ICAR–Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR–CCARI), Old Goa, on 17 August 2026 at Taggarse, Byndoor, Karnataka. A total of 30 participants, including 25 Scheduled Caste farmers, participated in the programme.The programme commenced with a welcome address and introduction by Mr. Abhishek, Consultant, ADB–TERI-CCARI project. He welcomed all the participants and highlighted the importance of scientific interventions and institutional technologies for the sustainable development of coastal farming communities.Dr. Sreekanth GB, Senior Scientist, ICAR–CCARI, highlighted technologies developed by ICAR–CCARI for enhancing livelihood opportunities and improving the socio-economic status of coastal farming communities. Demonstrations on bamboo aquarium technology and the barrel crab farming methodology were also conducted. Extension folders highlighting various CCARI technologies were also distributed to the farmers.Shri Ananda Angadi, Head, Matsya Sanjeevani FFPO, shared his views on farming activities in the Byndoor region and discussed the major problems and challenges faced by local farmers. Progressive farmers Shri Ravi Kharvi and Shri Lakshman shared their experiences in fish farming and fish marketing, providing practical insights into the opportunities and challenges associated with fisheries-based livelihoods.The participants actively interacted with the resource persons and discussed various aspects of coastal agriculture, livestock and fisheries-based livelihoods and the implementation of ICAR technologies. The farmers appreciated the efforts of the institute in disseminating scientific knowledge and promoting sustainable livelihood opportunities among coastal farming communities.The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Mrudul Umesh Pendurkar, Young Professional-I, ICAR–CCARI, Goa.The programme was coordinated by Dr. Sreekanth GB, Shri Trivesh Mayekar (Scientist-Fish Genetics and Breeding, ICAR-CCARI), Shri Ananda Angadi, Mr. Abhishek, and Mr. Mrudul Umesh Pendurkar.
