Farmers’ Program under PM’s Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana Held at ICAR–CCARI, Old Goa

    ICAR–Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute (CCARI), Old Goa organized a farmers’ program today which witnessed the participation of over 200 farmers, including 120 women farmers, along with scientists and stakeholders.

    Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Shri Sadanand Shet Tanavade graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and interacted with the farmers. The program also included a live telecast of the historic event where Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji inaugurated projects worth ₹42,000 crore dedicated to the prosperity and welfare of our Annadatas.

    The event reflected ICAR-CCARI’s continuous efforts, under the leadership of Director Dr. Parveen Kumar and Dr. Manohara K.K., Senior Scientist, to empower farmers, promote scientific agriculture, and encourage the active participation of women in farming.
