करमणे, प्रियोल में ‘खेत बचाओ अभियान’ पर जागरूकता कार्यक्रम
आईसीएआर–केंद्रीय तटीय कृषि अनुसंधान संस्थान (ICAR–CCARI), गोवा द्वारा करमणे, प्रियोल (मर्दोल), गोवा में ‘खेत बचाओ अभियान’ के अंतर्गत एक जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में मुख्यतः सुपारी, सब्जियां, काजू तथा अनानास की खेती करने वाले 40 किसानों (28 पुरुष एवं 12 महिला) ने सक्रिय रूप से भाग लिया।
तकनीकी सत्र में मृदा स्वास्थ्य के महत्व, संतुलित उर्वरक मात्रा के उपयोग तथा जैविक खादों के प्रयोग पर विशेष बल दिया गया। प्रतिभागियों को प्राकृतिक खेती में प्रयुक्त विभिन्न घोलों एवं तैयारियों का व्यावहारिक प्रदर्शन भी कराया गया।
भूमि उपयोग के महत्व पर प्रकाश डालते हुए किसानों को अपने खेतों को परती न छोड़ने के लिए प्रेरित किया गया। साथ ही, उन्हें यह जानकारी दी गई कि वैज्ञानिक कृषि पद्धतियों को अपनाकर कृषि उद्यमों की लाभप्रदता में उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि की जा सकती है।
Awareness Programme on ‘Khet Bachao Abhiyan’ at Karmane, Priol
ICAR–CCARI, Goa, organized an awareness programme on the Khet Bachao Abhiyan at Karmane, Priol (Mardol), Goa. The session saw active participation from 40 farmers (28 male and 12 female) who primarily cultivate arecanut, vegetables, cashew, and pineapple.
The technical programme focused on the critical importance of soil health, the application of balanced fertilizer doses, and the use of organic manures. Participants were also introduced to natural farming formulations through practical demonstrations. Emphasizing the importance of land utilization, farmers were encouraged to avoid keeping fields fallow and were provided with insights on how adopting a scientific approach can significantly enhance the profitability of their agricultural enterprises.
