आईसीएआर–केंद्रीय तटीय कृषि अनुसंधान संस्थान (आईसीएआर-सीसीएआरआई), गोवा की जनजातीय उप-योजना (STC) के लाभार्थी किसान श्री दया गांवकर ने संस्थान से प्राप्त सहयोग एवं मार्गदर्शन के संबंध में अपने अनुभव साझा किए।
उन्होंने STC घटक के अंतर्गत प्रदान किए गए तकनीकी मार्गदर्शन, प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमों तथा कृषि आदानों के लिए संस्थान के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया। श्री गांवकर के अनुसार, आईसीएआर-सीसीएआरआई के वैज्ञानिकों द्वारा दिए गए परामर्श एवं सुझावों से उन्हें उन्नत कृषि पद्धतियों की बेहतर समझ विकसित करने में सहायता मिली तथा उन्होंने अधिक वैज्ञानिक एवं सतत कृषि तकनीकों को अपनाना शुरू किया।
उन्होंने बताया कि संस्थान द्वारा उपलब्ध कराए गए कृषि आदानों ने उनकी कृषि गतिविधियों को सुदृढ़ बनाने तथा खेत प्रबंधन में सुधार लाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई है। वैज्ञानिकों के साथ नियमित संवाद एवं परामर्श से उन्हें खेत स्तर की समस्याओं का समाधान करने तथा फसल उत्पादन से संबंधित बेहतर निर्णय लेने में सहायता मिली।
श्री गांवकर ने कहा कि आईसीएआर-सीसीएआरआई से प्राप्त ज्ञान, प्रशिक्षण एवं सहयोग ने उनके आत्मविश्वास को बढ़ाया है और उन्हें कृषि उत्पादकता तथा स्थिरता बढ़ाने के लिए वैज्ञानिक कृषि पद्धतियों को अपनाने के लिए प्रेरित किया है।
उन्होंने जनजातीय किसानों के विकास एवं सशक्तिकरण के लिए आईसीएआर-सीसीएआरआई, गोवा द्वारा किए जा रहे निरंतर प्रयासों के प्रति धन्यवाद व्यक्त किया तथा आशा जताई कि ऐसी पहलें भविष्य में और अधिक किसानों को लाभान्वित करेंगी तथा उनकी आजीविका में सुधार लाने के साथ-साथ सतत कृषि को बढ़ावा देंगी।

Shri Daya Gaonkar, a farmer beneficiary under the Scheduled Tribe Component (STC) programme of ICAR–Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-CCARI), Goa, shared his experiences regarding the support received from the Institute.
He expressed his appreciation for the technical guidance, training programmes, and agricultural inputs provided under the STC component. According to Shri Gaonkar, the scientific advice offered by ICAR-CCARI helped him gain a better understanding of improved farming practices and encouraged him to adopt more sustainable agricultural techniques.
He highlighted that the inputs supplied by the Institute were useful in strengthening his farming activities and improving overall farm management. The regular interaction with scientists enabled him to address field-level challenges more effectively and make informed decisions related to crop cultivation.
Shri Gaonkar stated that the knowledge and support received from ICAR-CCARI have enhanced his confidence in farming and motivated him to continue adopting scientific methods for improving productivity and sustainability.
He conveyed his gratitude to ICAR-CCARI, Goa, for its continued support to tribal farmers and expressed hope that such initiatives would benefit many more farmers in the region by improving their livelihoods and promoting sustainable agriculture.
