आईसीएआर-सीसीएआरआई, गोवा में विश्व बौद्धिक संपदा दिवस का आयोजन

 

    आईसीएआर–केंद्रीय तटीय कृषि अनुसंधान संस्थान, गोवा में 30 अप्रैल 2026 को संस्थान के आईपी सप्ताह (24–30 अप्रैल 2026) के अंतर्गत विश्व बौद्धिक संपदा दिवस (WIPD) 2026 उत्साहपूर्वक मनाया गया। वर्ष 2026 का विषय "आईपी एवं खेल: तैयार, सेट, नवाचार" कार्यक्रम के दौरान परिलक्षित हुआ। इस अवसर पर किशोर एम. शाह (लीड मेंटर, आइडियाज अनलिमिटेड एवं पूर्व महानिदेशक, गोवा चैंबर ऑफ कॉमर्स एंड इंडस्ट्री) ने "लैब से बाजार तक: सीएसआर साझेदारियों के माध्यम से प्रौद्योगिकी व्यावसायीकरण की रणनीतियाँ" विषय पर विशेष व्याख्यान दिया। उन्होंने नवाचारों को सीएसआर के अनुरूप बनाने की प्रक्रिया पर प्रकाश डाला तथा बताया कि वैज्ञानिकों के समन्वित प्रयासों से नवाचारों को अंतिम उपयोगकर्ताओं तक पहुँचाते हुए बड़े संगठनों से सीएसआर सहयोग प्राप्त किया जा सकता है।

    कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता डॉ. परवीन कुमार, निदेशक, आईसीएआर-सीसीएआरआई ने की। अपने अध्यक्षीय संबोधन में उन्होंने संस्थान की अनुसंधान प्राथमिकताओं का उल्लेख करते हुए आवश्यकता-आधारित अनुसंधान तथा प्रयोगशाला में विकसित तकनीकों को किसानों एवं समाज के लिए उपयोगी परिणामों में बदलने पर बल दिया। उन्होंने प्रौद्योगिकी हस्तांतरण हेतु बड़े संगठनों के साथ साझेदारी तथा वैज्ञानिक प्रक्रिया में उद्यमिता के महत्व को भी रेखांकित किया।

    यह कार्यक्रम संस्थान की प्रौद्योगिकी एवं बौद्धिक संपदा प्रबंधन इकाई (ITMU) तथा कृषि व्यवसाय इनक्यूबेशन (ABI) टीम द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से आयोजित किया गया। डॉ. आर. सोलोमन राजकुमार ने संस्थान की बौद्धिक संपदा गतिविधियों की रूपरेखा प्रस्तुत की। अंत में डॉ. विनोद ए. उभारहांडे ने धन्यवाद ज्ञापन प्रस्तुत करते हुए वक्ता के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया तथा संस्थान द्वारा नवाचारों को प्रभावी अनुसंधान परिणामों में परिवर्तित करने एवं नवप्रवर्तकों, उद्यमियों तथा हितधारकों के बीच सेतु स्थापित करने की प्रतिबद्धता दोहराई।

 

 

ICAR-CCARI, Goa Celebrated World Intellectual Property Day

    The World Intellectual Property Day WIPD) 2026 was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm at ICAR-Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute, Goa on April 30, 2026, as part of the Institute's IP Week observance (24–30 April 2026). The theme for WIPD 2026, "IP & Sports: Ready, Set, Innovate", resonated throughout the event, which featured a special lecture titled "From Lab to Market: Strategies for Technology Commercialisation through CSR Partnerships", delivered by Shri Kishore M. Shah, Lead Mentor, Ideaz Unlimited and Former Director General, Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Shri Shah elaborated on the process of making innovations CSR-worthy and highlighted how coordinated teamwork among scientists can lead innovations to end-users while attracting CSR funding from large organisations. He provided practical insights into transforming research outcomes into commercially viable and socially impactful propositions through strategic CSR partnerships.

    The programme was chaired by Dr. Parveen Kumar, Director of ICAR-CCARI, who, in his presidential address, provided an overview of the Institute's research mandate and strongly emphasised the importance of need-based research and the translation of laboratory-based findings into tangible, deliverable outcomes for the benefit of farmers and society. He underscored the necessity of forging partnerships with large organisations for transferring technological benefits to the grassroots level and stressed the importance of realising the true power of entrepreneurship within the scientific process. The event was jointly organised by the Technology and Intellectual Property Management Unit (ITMU) and the Agri-Business Incubation (ABI) team of the Institute. Dr R. Solomon Rajkumar, Nodal Officer of ITMU & ABI outlined the IPR activities of the Institute. The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Vinod A. Ubarhande, who expressed gratitude to the distinguished speaker and reiterated the Institute's commitment to transforming its innovations into impactful research outcomes and bridging the link between innovators, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders.
