आईसीएआर-सीसीएआरआई द्वारा “डिजिटल उपकरणों के माध्यम से संतुलित उर्वरक उपयोग” विषय पर कार्यशाला आयोजित

 

    आईसीएआर-सीसीएआरआई द्वारा चलाए जा रहे आईसीएआर संतुलित उर्वरक उपयोग अभियान के अंतर्गत 26 मई 2026 को आईसीएआर-सीसीएआरआई, गोवा में “संतुलित उर्वरक उपयोग : डिजिटल उपकरणों का उपयोग” विषय पर एक कार्यशाला आयोजित की गई। इस कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य मृदा परीक्षण आधारित उर्वरक सिफारिशों, वैज्ञानिक पोषक तत्व प्रबंधन तथा सतत भूमि उपयोग योजना को बढ़ावा देने हेतु संस्थान द्वारा विकसित उन्नत डिजिटल निर्णय-सहायक उपकरणों के बारे में जागरूकता फैलाना एवं उनका प्रदर्शन करना था।

    कार्यशाला का शुभारंभ डॉ. गोपाल रामदास महाजन द्वारा कृषि में डिजिटल उपकरणों के परिचय के साथ किया गया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान “फर्टिलाइज़र कैलकुलेटर गोवा” ऐप का तकनीकी प्रदर्शन किया गया, जिसे गोवा की प्रमुख फसलों के लिए मृदा परीक्षण आधारित उर्वरक सिफारिशों हेतु विकसित किया गया है। इसके अतिरिक्त “फर्टिलाइज़र कैलकुलेटर न्यू!” ऐप का प्रदर्शन किया गया, जो भारत के विभिन्न कृषि पारिस्थितिकी तंत्रों के लिए उर्वरक सिफारिशों का एक सामान्य डिजिटल उपकरण है। साथ ही “एलआरआईएस गोवा ऐप” (Land Resource Information System) का भी प्रदर्शन किया गया, जो मृदा स्वास्थ्य कार्ड एवं मृदा परीक्षण आधारित उर्वरक सिफारिशों के माध्यम से वैज्ञानिक भूमि उपयोग योजना में सहायक है।

    यह कार्यक्रम आईसीएआर संतुलित उर्वरक उपयोग अभियान के उद्देश्यों के अनुरूप आयोजित किया गया तथा इसमें 4R न्यूट्रिएंट स्टूअर्डशिप सिद्धांतों — सही स्रोत, सही मात्रा, सही समय एवं सही विधि से उर्वरक उपयोग — पर आधारित वैज्ञानिक सलाहों के माध्यम से संतुलित एवं विवेकपूर्ण उर्वरक उपयोग के महत्व पर विशेष बल दिया गया। प्रतिभागियों को इन डिजिटल उपकरणों का व्यावहारिक अनुभव एवं प्रदर्शन भी प्रदान किया गया, जिससे उनकी समझ एवं उपयोग क्षमता में वृद्धि हो सके।

    कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत एक संवादात्मक चर्चा सत्र का समन्वयन डॉ. श्रीपाद भाट द्वारा किया गया, जबकि प्रतिभागियों से प्राप्त प्रतिक्रिया सत्र का समन्वयन डॉ. संजय कुमार उधारवार द्वारा किया गया। कार्यशाला में कुल 10 कर्मचारियों ने सक्रिय सहभागिता दर्ज की, जिनमें 8 पुरुष एवं 2 महिला प्रतिभागी शामिल थे। इससे किसानों तक वैज्ञानिक सलाह एवं तकनीकी प्रसार सेवाओं को सुदृढ़ करने हेतु डिजिटल कृषि उपकरणों के प्रति बढ़ती रुचि परिलक्षित हुई।

    कार्यशाला के समन्वयक डॉ. गोपाल रामदास महाजन, डॉ. श्रीपाद भाट, डॉ. संजय कुमार उधारवार तथा श्री विश्वजीत प्रजापति थे।

 

ICAR-CCARI organized a workshop on “Balanced Use of Fertilizers through Digital Tools”

    Under the ongoing ICAR Campaign on Balanced Use of Fertilizers, ICAR–ICAR-CCARI, Goa, organized a workshop on “Balanced Use of Fertilizers: Use of Digital Tools” on 26 May 2026 at ICAR-CCARI, Goa. The programme aimed to create awareness and demonstrate advanced digital decision-support tools developed by the Institute for promoting soil test-based fertilizer recommendations, scientific nutrient management, and sustainable land-use planning.

    The workshop commenced with an introduction to digital tools in agriculture by Dr. Gopal Ramdas Mahajan. Technical demonstrations were conducted on the Fertilizer Calculator Goa app, developed for soil test-based fertilizer recommendations for important crops of Goa; the Fertilizer Calculator New! app, a generic tool for fertilizer recommendation across diverse agroecosystems of India; and the LRIS Goa App, a Land Resource Information System for scientific land-use planning through soil health card and soil test-based fertilizer recommendations.

    The programme aligned with the objectives of the ICAR Campaign on Balanced Use of Fertilizers and emphasized the importance of balanced and judicious fertilizer application through scientific advisories based on the 4R Nutrient Stewardship principles — right source, right dose, right time, and right method of fertilizer application. Hands-on exposure and practical demonstrations of the digital tools were also provided to the participants to enhance their understanding and application.

    An interactive discussion session was coordinated by Dr. Shripad Bhat, followed by feedback from participants coordinated by Dr. Sanjay Kumar Udharwar. The workshop witnessed active participation from 10 staff members, including 8 male and 2 female participants, reflecting growing interest in digital agriculture tools for improving farmer advisory and technology dissemination services.
