Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan (Pre- Kharif Campaign) was conducted at Warkhand Nagzar village, North Goa, by ICAR-CCARI and KVK, North Goa on 4th June 2025. The program aimed to empower farmers with knowledge and practical insights to enhance agricultural productivity. Subject matter specialists and experts engaged with the local farming community, highlighting key topics relevant to the upcoming Kharif season.
    Farmers were educated on the benefits of backyard poultry farming as a supplementary source of income and nutrition by the experts of ICAR-CCARI, Goa. Detailed guidance was provided on improved paddy cultivation practices suitable for the region. A special focus was given to the introduction and demonstration of agricultural drones, showcasing their applications in spraying, and enhancing efficiency in farm operations.
    The event emphasized the role of modern technology in transforming traditional farming and encouraged farmers to adopt innovative practices. Participants showed keen interest and actively interacted with the experts.
