As part of the Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan (Pre- Kharif Campaign), KVK North Goa and ICAR-CCARI, organized an awareness programme on 6th June 2025 at Virnoda village. The programme aimed to educate farmers on key agricultural practices ahead of the Kharif season. The sessions by KVK and ICAR-CCARI experts covered important topics such as state department schemes beneficial to farmers, improved practices in paddy cultivation, and effective management of coconut plantations. Special emphasis was given to creating awareness about the use of agri-drones for spraying in paddy fields, highlighting their efficiency and potential to reduce labour and time.
    The event saw enthusiastic participation from local farmers, who gained insights into modern and sustainable agricultural practices. The initiative aimed to strengthen farmer preparedness and promote technology adoption for enhanced productivity.
