Awareness and distribution programme under SCSP at Thrissur, Kerala

 

    ICAR-CCARI organized a distribution programme at Kodungallur, Thrissur coastal district, Kerala under the ICAR-SCSP component on 5 January 2025. During the programme, Dr Sreekanth. GB, Senior Scientist (FRM) highlighted the technologies and package of practices developed by the institute. The farmers appreciated the institute’s efforts for empowering the marginalized communities. They specifically requested for the capacity building programmes on vegetable cultivation, black soldier fly rearing, backyard poultry and goat farming. They assured all the support for the research and development initiatives of the Institute. Multipurpose HDPE barrels were distributed to five SC farmers during the programme.
