KVK North Goa and ICAR-CCARI organized a programme under Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan (VKSA) on 2nd June 2025 at Pissurlem village, North Goa. The event focused on promoting sustainable agricultural practices tailored to the coastal region. SMS and Scientists from ICAR CCARI sensitized farmers on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) aimed at enhancing crop production while conserving natural resources. Experts provided technical guidance on sustainable farming techniques, along with effective pest management strategies specifically for cashew and coconut, two major crops of the region.

The programme emphasized the importance of adopting eco-friendly and economically viable practices to improve productivity, ensure crop health, and support long-term farm sustainability.
