As part of the Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan (Pre- Kharif Campaign), on 9th June 2025 at Parra village, ICAR-CCARI and Kvk, North Goa experts conducted a comprehensive awareness programme covering various aspects of sustainable agriculture. The session included discussions on agricultural sensitive zones, innovative farming techniques, and climate-resilient agricultural practices aimed at helping farmers adapt to environmental changes.
Farmers were guided on effective pest control strategies, the use of Nano Urea fertilizers for improved crop nutrition, and opportunities in floriculture to enhance income. Additionally, the programme featured important insights on animal health, with veterinary and pathology-related discussions to support livestock management. The initiative aimed to promote integrated farming systems for holistic rural development.
