As part of the Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan (Pre- Kharif Campaign), KVK North Goa, and ICAR-CCARI, organized an awareness programme on 5th June 2025 at Parcem village, North Goa. The event aimed to prepare farmers for the upcoming Kharif season by promoting sustainable and integrated agricultural practices.
    Experts from KVK and ICAR-CCARI provided guidance on pest management in coconut under integrated farming systems. The programme also focused on improved fodder cultivation techniques to support better nutrition for dairy cattle, enhancing livestock productivity. In addition, information was shared on various government schemes promoting community farming, encouraging collective efforts for improved resource use and profitability.
    The initiative aimed to empower farmers with scientific knowledge and government support mechanisms to build resilience and improve livelihoods through climate-smart agriculture.
