On 31st May 2025, KVK North Goa and ICAR-CCARI, organized a Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan (VKSA) programme at Navelim village, North Goa. The event aimed to raise awareness among farmers on sustainable agricultural practices and government support initiatives.
Experts from ICAR CCARI highlighted the importance of natural farming and its role in preserving soil health and reducing input costs. Farmers were also guided on improved practices in paddy cultivation, with emphasis on high-yielding and climate-resilient varieties developed by ICAR-CCARI.
    The programme also included an informative session on the benefits and application process of the Kisan Credit Card (KCC), encouraging farmers to leverage institutional credit facilities for agricultural and allied activities. The initiative aimed to support farmers in adopting eco-friendly practices while improving their access to financial resources.
