As part of the Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan (Pre- Kharif Campaign), KVK North Goa and ICAR-CCARI organized an awareness programme on 5th June 2025 at Mopa village, North Goa. The event aimed to educate farmers on improved agricultural practices ahead of the Kharif season.
    Experts from KVK North Goa and ICAR-CCARI provided valuable guidance to farmers on various aspects of sustainable agriculture. They highlighted innovative and climate-resilient farming techniques to help farmers adapt to changing weather patterns. Practical tips were shared on improving cashew plantation practices, including variety selection and crop management. The team also addressed effective pest and disease control methods, particularly in coastal field and plantation crops. Emphasis was placed on reducing chemical use and adopting eco-friendly approaches. The session aimed to enhance productivity and ensure long-term farm sustainability. The programme focused on promoting sustainable agriculture and enhancing productivity through scientific methods.
