The Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan (Pre- Kharif Campaign) was organized on 1st June 2025 at Morlem village, North Goa, by KVK-North Goa and ICAR-CCARI. The campaign aimed to equip farmers with sustainable and practical agricultural knowledge ahead of the Kharif season.
    Scientists and Subject Matter Specialists of ICAR-CCARI, Goa created awareness on natural farming and its various components, emphasizing eco-friendly practices such as vermicomposting and the use of Jeevamrut. Farmers were also guided on papaya cultivation techniques and the benefits of micro-irrigation systems for efficient water management.
    Additionally, the session highlighted the potential for agri-entrepreneurship through the effective use of government schemes. Kharif-specific advisories were provided to help farmers plan their cropping strategies efficiently. The programme encouraged farmers to adopt integrated and sustainable approaches for improved productivity and income.
