Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyaan from May 29 to June 12, 2025

The Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan (Pre-Kharif Campaign) was organized on 3rd June 2025 at Gulelim village, North Goa. Subject Matter Specialists and Scientists from ICAR-CCARI, KVK North Goa, and line departments interacted with farmers and provided guidance on scientific cultivation practices for coconut to enhance yield and sustainability.
    Awareness was also created on backyard poultry farming as a means to boost rural livelihood and nutritional security. The concept of Integrated Farming Systems was discussed as a need of hour to help farmers diversify and optimize farm resources. Additionally, information on various state and central government schemes for farmers was shared to promote better access to agricultural support and benefits.
