Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyaan from May 29 to June 12, 2025

The Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan (Pre- Kharif Campaign) was conducted at Cotorem Gram Panchayat in Sattari Taluka, North Goa, by ICAR-CCARI & ICAR-KVK, North Goa on 2-06-2025. During the event, officials from various line departments engaged with the local farming community to raise awareness on key pre- Kharif agricultural practices. The campaign emphasized the importance of utilizing soil health cards for efficient resource management and adopting good agricultural practices, including the judicious use of fertilizers. Farmers were informed about various government schemes and policies relevant to agriculture. The program also highlighted the selection of suitable crops based on the local agro-climatic conditions, the use of high-quality planting materials, and effective pest and disease management strategies for crops such as coconut, arecanut, cashew nut, and mango.
    Ms. Saloni Goankar, Deputy Sarpanch along with other Panch members of Cotorem Gram panchayat, Mr. Dhyandeep Mahadev Gawas, Branch Manager, Goa State Cooperative Bank, Gawane Branch, Dr. Raghunandan, Scientist, ICAR CCARI, Goa, Mr. Pruthviraj Naik, BTM Sattari, ATMA North Goa participated in this campaign.
